Mr. Gonen was appointed CEO of Galil Software in June 2012, bringing vast experience in key R&D, Marketing and managerial Hi Tech positions. Prior to joining Galil Software, Mr. Gonen served as ECI Telcom’s Head of the Access line of business. Previously, Mr. Gonen was the CEO of Deltathree.

From 1998 through 2008, Mr. Gonen was with Comverse in various R&D, marketing and senior management positions, most recently as the Vice President of the Content Solutions Line of Business.

Mr. Gonen holds a BSc Cum Laude in Electrical Engineering and a BSc Cum Laude in Physics, both from the Technion – Israel Institute of Technology, as well as an MBA from Bar-Ilan University.

Ms. Abu Ahmad joined the Finance Department of Galil Software in 2011 and was appointed Financial Manager in 2012. Ms. Abu Ahmad was promoted to VP Finance in 2016.

Before joining Galil Software, Ms. Abu Ahmad worked for over three years at Deloitte Brightman Almagor Zohar, the Israeli branch of Deloitte, as an intern, and most recently as a senior, managing a team responsible for public and private business accounts.

Ms. Abu Ahmad is a Certified Public Accountant in Israel, and holds a BA in Economics and Accounting from Tel Aviv University.

Mr. Abu Leil was appointed VP Customers’ Projects in 2014. In his role, he builds and manages winning teams of R&D Augmentation for some of Galil’s key customers. Prior to that, since 2012 he was Customer Business Director, in which role he was a site manager for some of Galil’s strategic customers. Prior to this, from 2008, Mr. Abu Leil was an R&D Team Leader, specializing in Enterprise and Telecom oriented projects.

Prior to joining Galil Software, He served as Team Leader and Senior Developer at R&B Mold, Die Design Solutions and AlphaOmega Neuroscience Technologies. In those roles he developed expertise in software development of bio-medical solutions and graphical applications.

Mr. Abu Leil holds a BSc in Computer Science from the Technion – Israel Institute of Technology.

Ms. Bouganim joined Galil Software at 2012. She was appointed VP Customer Success in 2021.
In this role, Ms. Bouganim is responsible for maintaining and strengthening customer relationships, and expanding the company’s business opportunities with existing customers.

Prior to that, she held the position of VP of Human Resources between 2012 and 2021. Her role included the responsibility of recruitment, retention, welfare and training of the employees, as well as the development of organizational growth programs.

Before joining Galil Software Ms. Bouganim held the position of HR manager of the northern region of Israel’s National Health Service, Leumit. From 2001 to 2010 Ms. Bouganim worked as HR manager in the public sector and advanced tech companies.

Ms. Bouganim holds a BA in Political Science and Middle East History from Haifa University, and an MA Cum Laude in Middle East studies from Tel Aviv University.

Mr. Khoury joined Galil Software in March 2008, bringing vast experience in management and R&D from high-tech companies. Prior to joining Galil Software, Mr. Khoury managed the Project Management and Professional Services Group at Dalet’s Israeli R&D branch (Gefen Dekel), one of the leading companies in the MAM and broadcast world. Mr. Khoury was responsible for account management and presale activities in Europe and Africa.

From 2000 until 2004, Mr. Khoury held different managerial positions at Intel England. His last position at Intel was manager of the Professional Services Group. Mr. Khoury started his career at IBM in 1995.

Mr. Khoury holds a BSc in Computer Engineering from the Technion – Israel Institute of Technology.

Mr. Zonsheine joined Galil Software in 2015, bringing vast technology experience from various companies, including leading big technology groups.

Prior to joining Galil, Mr. Zonsheine served as Director of Business Development of Tsofen – High Technology Centers. Mr. Zonsheine previously held senior management positions, including Development Manager of Intigua.com, a virtualization IT management tool company, and VP R&D for Infogate, a RAD-Bynet startup.

Mr. Zonsheine holds a B.Sc in Computer Science and Physics from the Hebrew University in Jerusalem.

Ms. Hino joined Galil Software in 2021, taking responsibility over all HR aspects including recruitment, retention, welfare and training of the employees, as well as the development of organizational growth programs.

Ms. Hino has vast experience in human resource management, including recruitment and retention processes, managerial development, leading cross-organizational processes, assimilating organizational processes and changes, and developing training and facilitation for groups.

Prior to joining Galil, Ms. Hino held senior HR positions in Sanmina as an HR Business Partner, and in Babcom as the HR manager of the Misgav site.

Ms. Hino holds a B.A. in Sociology and Human Resources from the Western Galilee College.

Mr. Karkaby was appointed R&D Site Director in 2013, and is in charge of a large activity of R&D and QA of various products.

Mr. Karkaby joined Galil Software in 2009 as an R&D Team Leader; Taking responsibility on different products, also leading the development of a large scale product; installed at various mobile operators sites and serving millions of customers worldwide.

Prior to joining Galil Software, Mr. Karkaby served as a software developer at Comverse, where he was responsible for the development of a large scale advanced product.

Mr. Karkaby holds a BSc in Computer Science from the Academic College of Tel-Hai.

Moreover, Mr. Karkaby is a technology / coding enthusiast.

Yuval Reina, a distinguished AI visionary, joined Galil Software as the Chief AI Officer (CAIO) in September 2023. With a career spanning over 25 years, Mr. Reina’s profound experience in technology and leadership is showcased through his background as an electronics engineer with an MSc in Management. His diverse expertise across multiple technological disciplines positions him as a key contributor to Galil’s executive team.

Prior to Galil Software, Mr. Reina played pivotal roles at D-Fend as VP R&D from 2020 to 2023 and at Ceragon as COO and EVP Global Product from 2015 to 2020. At D-Fend, he was instrumental in revolutionizing R&D operations, and at Ceragon, he significantly contributed to the company’s turnaround and spearheaded major technological advancements.

Mr. Reina’s career foundation was laid in military technology, where he served as the Head of the IDF’s Intelligence Corps Elite R&D Unit for over two decades, culminating his service as a Colonel. His leadership in this capacity involved overseeing groundbreaking projects and pioneering technological innovations.

His appointment at Galil Software marks a new chapter of innovation and advancement in AI and technology solutions.
