Business Challenge

With an ever-growing customer base and expanding operations, Radware were already outsourcing many projects to its team in India.

However, Radware were looking to take their production efforts to the next level and were looking for an alternative to the often less effective offshore teams (largely due to different time zones, language, and culture).

Namely, Radware wanted to ensure it kept its product line to the high standards it was already known for locally in Israel, so were looking to partner with an onshore team in Israel who could provide a cost-effective solution for taking on QA automation projects.

Galil Software’s Solution

Radware looked at a number of outsourcing options, but quickly realized that Galil Software’s onshore solution, in terms of overhead, efficiency, and cost effectiveness, was the standout choice.

Galil Software commenced work with Radware in November 2011, and soon expanded from a very small team of 1 lead and 2 junior engineers, to a team of 19.

After initially starting out on a small part of Radware’s product line, Galil Software’s team has, in parallel with the Indian team, proven itself more than capable. As a result of their efforts, the Galil Software engineers have been entrusted with automation work on three main Radware products.

The Galil Software team have proven themselves time and again in delivering quality automation work for Radware, even winning company awards in recognition of their efforts and overall performance. The Galil team have also acquainted themselves with Radware technologies; after initially starting with J-System they have moved on to more open and innovative testing tools, such as Selenium.

The current team includes telecom veterans – and a number of dynamic, enthusiastic juniors – who graduated from the best Israeli universities and academic engineering programs.
